Virtual machine monitoring expands secure network visibility options
APCON is pleased to announce the latest release for its multi-switch network management software, TITAN Version 4.04.1. This update to the TITAN platform includes IntellaTap-VM (Virtual Machine) Monitoring with the capability to filter and encapsulate traffic from a virtual network and send that traffic to tools using GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) tunneling.
IntellaTap-VM reinforces client network security
This new monitoring solution allows a client to forward traffic to APCON IntellaView and IntellaFlex XR switches (or other GRE-compatible network tools) without sharing highly-guarded root credentials normally required to access the client’s host network. Our IntellaTap-VM solutions are compatible with many providers of virtual network environments like VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, and others.
TITAN users can review the TITAN v4.04.1 User Manual for requirements and configuration details for the new VM Monitoring feature and other enhancements included with this release.
TITAN and IntellaTap-VM are two of the many innovations keeping APCON at the forefront of the Network Visibility market today and for the last 28 years. APCON engineers continue to develop innovative technologies shaping the future of network monitoring.
